03/14/14 Nashville, TN to Elk City, OK

This was Day 2 of 3 long driving days.
Home for the night

We left the hotel after a quick breakfast and our first stop was a very cool old furnace that was used to make iron in 1833.
From there we drove to and through Memphis . . . no Elvis sightings but we did drive by the St Judes Children's Hospital. I didn't know that it was in Memphis.

As we left Memphis we crossed the mighty Mississippi River and the state line into Arkansas

We stopped to do a few geocaches and noticed that the weather was warmer. . . nearly 70 Woo Hoo one of the reasons for making the trip this time of year was warm weather. I also saw some daffodils in bloom along the side of the highway but I couldn't get a good picture of them.
The final state for the day was Oklahoma .
Three states , 750 miles and 11 geocaches . . . a good day and a nice hotel for the night. One more big driving day tomorrow before we slow down and relax.
